The Grand Tour's 'Eboladrome' Track Has Already Been Recreated On A Racing Game.

The twisty, gnarly, ‘Eboladrome’ test track is probably my favorite part of The Grand Tour. It looks rather tricky, and there’s a pleasure to be had in seeing ludicrously powerful super cars like the Aston Martin Vulcan navigating the bumpy course.
But what if you fancied driving it, without breaking in to the facility where it’s contained? You’ll be wanting this Assetto Corsa mod, then. While we’ve only just stumbled upon this creation, it looks to have been released within a day or two of the first episode. Fast work, no?
There have already been a few updates, so expect the track you see here to continually improve.

Season 1 Episode 2: Operation Desert Stumble.

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May bring the traveling Grand Tour tent to The Cradle of Humankind near Johannesburg in South Africa. In this show, the three hosts are forced to become special forces soldiers with an all action challenge at a top secret training base, deep within Jordan. Also in this episode, Jeremy introduces the 800 horsepower Aston Martin Vulcan to the grand tour test track, and James is sent to investigate an unusual form of Motorsport called spinning.

The Grand Tour Episode 2 Trailer.

With knives, guns, explosions and donuts on the agenda, the second episode of The Grand Tour looks bonkers!

It's Official: The Grand Tour's First Episode Was A Record-Breaking Hit.

Unsurprisingly, it looks like Amazon Prime's investment in Clarkson and co has paid off, with record-breaking viewing figures for GT's first episode reported.

The amount of money Amazon Prime paid to snare Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May varies greatly depending on which rumour you’re reading, but the general consensus is it was rather a lot. However, it’s looking like the streaming service’s investment in the trio - which includes a huge production budget - is going to pay off. While no specific figures were given, Amazon Prime has revealed that the first episode garnered the highest viewing figures for any show debut on the platform, beating previous record holder The Man In The High Castle. Not bad considering it hasn’t had a worldwide release yet.

Speaking about the news, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said:

“The guys are back, doing what they do best - the chemistry between Jeremy, Richard, and James is what makes The Grand Tour so entertaining. Their creativity, along with the amazing production quality and 4K HDR streaming, has Prime members responding in a big way. Kudos and congrats to the whole team.”

It’s been well received too, currently holding a 4.8 average star rating on Amazon based on nearly 4500 people, a 9.6 average on IMDB.com and having positive reviews thrown at it from publications the world over.

Season 1 Episode 1: The Holy Trinity.

The boys are back – Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are finally back on our screens. Episode 1 is an hour and 9 minutes, and It’s time I don’t regret taking. Such a great production, such great natural humor and full stop fun from start to finish. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May start their brand new car show with hundreds of cars, thousands of people, a fire spitting metal scorpion and a squadron of jets in the California desert, plus three amazing hybrid hyper-cars and a brilliant BMW.
