The Grand Tour tent is once again in Loch Ness, Scotland after a monster discovery since the last show. This week, the hosts tour central Europe in a Jaguar F-Pace, a Bentley Bentayga and a Range Rover Autobiography, arguing over which is the best SUV and trying not to giggle at road signs. Also in this show, Jeremy kills preconceptions as he laps the Ebolad rome in a Lexus GS F, the hosts examine the point of launch control, and Hollywood legend Tim Burton is invited to play Celebrity Brain Crash.

Season 1 Episode 11: Italian Lessons.

From the shores of Loch Ness in Scotland, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May introduce their attempts to buy used Maseratis for a bargain price and then use them to tour the drizzle flecked landscapes of the North of France. Also in this programme, Richard takes the Abarth 124 Spider to the Eboladrome, Jeremy comes up with a way to install cutting edge features in an older car, and the Olympics cycling champion turned car racer Sir Chris Hoy is invited to try celebrity brain crash.

The Grand Tour travelling tent arrives in Nashville, Tennessee from where Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May introduce their attempt to save the world's coral reefs using only a selection of car body shells and some extremely inept boat driving. Also in this show, Jeremy finally indulges his series-long Alfa Romeo obsession with a test of the new, 500 horsepower Giulia Quadrifoglio and AC/DC singer Brian Johnson comes to the tent to try his hand at Celebrity Brain Crash.

This week, The Grand Tour arrives in Stuttgart, the home of Porsche and Mercedes-Benz. In this show, James May takes the new Honda NSX supercar to the Eboladrome to push its cutting-edge hybrid technology to the limit and Richard Hammond immerses himself in the world of doomsday preppers as he constructs a 'bugout' vehicle that will allow him to survive a bleak future of nuclear winter, aliens invasions and mass herd of rombies. Meanwhile in a less realistic attempt of engineering, Clarkson invents a new kind of fashionable SUV. Also in this show, the hosts attempt to meet the future demands of electric cars by harnessing power from the currently untapped actions of everyday life.

Season 1 Episode 6: Happy Finnish Christmas.

The Grand Tour tent is in Kakslauttanen, Finland, deep within the Arctic Circle with a show in which Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson compare the Ford Mustang V8 and the Ford Focus RS, James May recounts the bitter 1960s battle for endurance racing supremacy between Ferrari and Ford, and the presenters run through some ideal Christmas gifts for car fans.

THE GRAND TOUR will be bringing in the New Year in Namibia in a two-part special, it has been confirmed.



Following on from the Christmas special in Finland, episodes seven and eight will see Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May set a challenge by their producer, Andy Wilman. In a bid to prove buggies are not a relic of the 1960s, each one of the trio must customize their own buggy then trek through the deserts of South West Africa. The second episode of the special will see Clarkson, Hammond and May finally escape their desert buggy challenge only to be faced with an even bigger task, the rough roads of the Namibian bush.

There is sure to be plenty of drama as Clarkson's V8-powered buggy constantly malfunctions making the journey more arduous. As they near their destination the presenters must camp out as well as doing a bit of rhino conservation, before embarking on the dangerous final stretch to their finish point.This is not the former Top Gear hosts first trip to Africa as in episode five 'Moroccan Roll', the Grand Tour pitched its tent in Morocco.

However Grand Tour filming had to finish early as something "unexpected" happened, which meant they had to wrap at lunchtime. Although it is still not clear what the show-stopping incident was, it has been suggested by fans that it might have been the group's failed attempt to weigh a Mazda.

The New Year special will be available to watch on Friday 30 November and Saturday 31 November.

Amazon heavily censor Jeremy Clarkson's show in India due to use of cow organs.

Last month, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May finally returned to our screens with the highly anticipated The Grand Tour. The motoring show - the trio’s first since leaving Top Gear - was met with relative acclaim across the board, critics praising the presenters’ chemistry. However, following the fourth episode reaching the Amazon Prime customers, there was controversy. The company decided to heavily censor the episode in India, cutting down the hour long length to just 30 minutes. 

Censorship is common in the country, with sex scenes often blurred out or cut entirely, but - with just over half a programme being cut - Amazon has received several complaints about The Grand Tour in particular, one report calling the censorship ‘heavy handed’. The segment in question that was cut included 'cow body organs' being placed on a car.

Amazon has since defended the censorship, revealing that the cuts were made with ‘Indian cultural sensitivities in mind’, cows being held in high stature by numerous Indian communities.

Amazon is a responsible company and we are here to entertain the Indian customer with award-winning content from the US along with blockbusters from Indian and regional makers," the company told Mashable India in a statement. "We will keep Indian cultural sensitivities in mind while offering this content to customers.”
